Photorealistic Product Visualization takes designs for a physical product, and uses 3D software to produce a completely realistic image of what that product would look like upon completion. In many cases, these visualizations serve not only as a good predictor of the final product, but when done properly they can replace more costly photography of the final product for marketing and advertising purposes. These renders were used like this, in place of actual photography, and were considerably more cost-effective as a result.
Starting from diagrams of the bottle, these shots were created entirely from scratch. The bottle was modeled in 3D, textured, lit, and rendered in Foundry MODO. Post-processing was done by hand in Adobe Photoshop.
